Stainless Steel Pipes & Tubes Manufacturer & Supplier in Mumbai, India

Amardeep Steel Centre is a manufacturer, stockist and dealer of stainless steel pipes operating with strong presence in oil and gas, pharmaceutical, chemical as well as construction sectors. We distribute clients all over India and are also exporting to 40+ countries worldwide. We are also producing our stainless steel pipes and tubes to ASTM 312, ASTM 213 and ASTM 269, and we always have 304, 304L, 316, 316L, 321, 347, 2205 and 904L available on stock.

What makes stainless steel the go-to material for demanding industrial environments comes down to its chemistry. The addition of chromium (18–20%) and nickel (8–14%) forms a natural oxide layer on the surface — one that actively resists oxidation, pitting, and crevice corrosion. Beyond corrosion resistance, this composition also holds up well under high temperatures and aggressive chemical exposure, which is exactly why engineers and procurement teams across process industries keep coming back to stainless steel tubing when reliability isn't negotiable.

What are Stainless Steel Pipes?

Stainless steel pipes are hollow, elongated, round cross-section products worn throughout the oil and gas industry, chemical industry, medical industry, food processing industry, machinery industry, and structural framework industries because they are strong, resistant to corrosion, and have low maintenance needs. In situations with low torsional loading, stainless steel pipes provide a lightweight alternative that can be used in the mechanical and building industry. They also apply to hydraulic systems, military equipment and fine tuning instruments.

Stainless steel pipes mainly fall into two types known as seamless and welded. They are offered in production methods of hot-rolled, extruded and cold-drawn, circular, square, rectangular, hexagonal and custom profiles.

What are Stainless Steel Tubes?

Stainless steel tubes are used in structural, instrumentation, and pressure applications where precise outside diameter and wall thickness are essential for proper fitting and performance. Heat exchanger stainless steel tubes are widely used in automotive components, medical equipment, and decorative applications. As a leading stainless steel tubing supplier, we also offer square and rectangular seamless stainless steel pipes for structural and special-purpose applications, providing excellent dimensional accuracy across demanding industrial environments.

Types of Stainless Steel Pipes & Tubes

We manufacture and supply a wide array of SS pipes & tubes in various forms, finishes, and dimensions to suit your specific project requirements. Our range includes:

Seamless Stainless Steel Pipes & Tubes

Seamless Stainless Steel Pipes & Tubes

Manufactured without a weld seam via hot extrusion or cold drawing, seamless stainless steel pipes deliver superior pressure containment and are the preferred choice for critical oil & gas, power generation, and chemical applications. Available in sizes ½" NB to 24" NB per ASTM A312 / ASME SA312.

Welded Stainless Steel Pipes & Tubes

Welded Stainless Steel Pipes & Tubes

Welded stainless steel pipes are made by welding rolled sheets or strips and are more economical for larger diameters and non-critical applications. Commonly used in structural, automotive, and industrial sectors. Available in ERW, EFW, and LSAW types.

EFW / Large Diameter Stainless Steel Pipes

EFW / Large Diameter Stainless Steel Pipes

Electric Fusion Welded (EFW) pipes are available in sizes 6" NB to 100" NB for industrial pipelines, desalination plants, and structural applications where large bore sections are required. Manufactured per ASTM A358.

FAQs About Stainless Steel Pipes & Tubes

What is the difference between a Stainless Steel Pipe and a Tube?

While both are hollow cylindrical products, pipes are typically used for fluid/gas conveyance and sized by nominal pipe size (NPS) and schedule. Tubes are generally used for structural, mechanical, or instrumentation purposes, with precise outside diameter (OD) and wall thickness being critical.

What is the difference between 304 and 316 Stainless Steel Pipe?

304 Stainless Steel Pipe is the most common grade, offering good general corrosion resistance. 316 contains 2–3% molybdenum, which provides superior resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride-rich environments such as marine or chemical processing applications.

What is the Diameter of a Stainless Steel Pipe?

Stainless steel pipe sizes vary widely, specified by Nominal Pipe Size (NPS) ranging from ½ inch up to 24 inches or larger for industrial applications.

What are Stainless Steel Pipes and Tubes used for?

Stainless steel pipes and tubes are used in oil & gas, chemical processing, food & dairy, pharmaceuticals, construction, automotive, marine, and defence industries. Their strength, durability, and corrosion resistance make them suitable for both industrial and structural applications.

Why choose SS Pipes and SS Tubes over other materials?

SS pipes and tubes offer high corrosion resistance, heat resistance, strength, and hygienic properties. They are long-lasting, easy to maintain, and cost-effective over their service life compared to carbon steel (which corrodes) or plastic alternatives (which have pressure/temperature limits).

Do you supply Stainless Steel Pipes and Tubes in different grades and sizes?

Yes. At Amardeep Steel Centre, we supply stainless steel pipes and tubes in grades 201, 304, 304L, 316, 316L, 321, 347, 2205, 2507, and 904L across a wide range of diameters and thicknesses. Custom fabrication and non-standard sizes are available on request.
